This past weekend in Phoenix, on November 13th, 2010, there were a number of Dharma related activities going on: a Medicine Buddha empowerment being offered, Lam Rim teachings and the Atavisi Buddha puja. In addition to this, there was a Green Tara Mandala Dance training session that was using the main room at the Emaho Center and they had two beautiful altars set up to Green Tara and White Tara. I'm taking the Lam Rim intensive again. Given Lama Atisa's connection to Green Tara, I took the appearance of the Taras to be a very auspicious sign.
The wonderous thing about these events is that the empowerment, the Lam Rim class and the puja were all scheduled start at the same time, 6:30 PM.
How wonderful and auspicious for all sentient beings!
